Chris' Obituary

Christopher Shane Douglas, of Oklahoma City, died tragically on March 3, 2023. Chris was a proud 30-year member of the Oklahoma Army National Guard. LTC Douglas’s service included deployments to Afghanistan and Egypt and was a key leader in the development of OKARNG’s award winning cybersecurity program. Chris was also the Area Manager for the Office of Information and Technology for the OKC Veteran’s Health Administration. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. Chris is survived by his wife, Staceee Hoye-Douglas; his stepdaughter, Paige Jones; his parents, Johnny and Janet Moore and sister Chastity Douglas-Butts, her husband Jesse Butts and children Brooke and Brenden Butts. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 at 2:00pm at New Hope United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Army Emergency Relief Fund.
