Daralene's Obituary

Mary “Daralene” (Hawk) Carson of Midwest City, OK died peacefully July 6, 2024 at the age of 89. Born October 8, 1934 in Tulsa, OK to Darall and Aura Hawk.

Daralene graduated from Bartlesville High School and then attended the University of Oklahoma completing her degree at Northwestern University in Chicago.

Daralene married Norman Carson of Bartlesville OK in 1956. Following their graduation from Northwestern they moved to Long Beach, CA where Norman served as a U.S.Navy dentist. In 1959 they moved to Midwest City, OK where they raised their four children.

Daralene was a member of the Midwest City Garden Club, PEO, Daughters of the American Revolution and other civic groups.

Survived by her four children, Steve Carson (Mary Martin), Jane Carson, Tom Carson (Nicole Bettauer) and Tim Carson (Randi Carson) one grandson Cody Carson (Alexandra Carson) and one great grandson Silas Hawk Carson.

 

Memorial services July 26 at 2pm, St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 222 NW 15th Street, Oklahoma City.
