Rick was born Sept 12. 1959 in OKC, OK to Carl & Wanda (Lancaster) Swanson
Rick graduated from John Marshall High School 1978. He was a licensed electrician.
Rick liked watching football with his Dad. Rick was an OU fan, while his Dad was an OSU fan. Rick would watch football games on TV, but would listen to it on the radio. He liked solving puzzles. His favorite was fill-in puzzles.
Rick was a 32nd mason. He was secretary of Britton Masonic Lodge #434 in OKC (the old town of Britton OK). Rick was Past Master of Britton Lodge, and Past Master of Lodge of Research. He was a 32nd degree mason at the Guthrie Scottish Rite Temple in Guthrie OK, he worked with the sound stage crew, he was a member of York Rite in OKC. He was a member of Acts2 Methodist church. He worked the sound for years.
Rick is survived by his parents, Uncles: Allen Lancaster, Tom (Elaine) Swanson. Aunts: Margaret (Don) Milner, JoAnne Lancaster, and many cousins & friends. He preceded in death by his wife Beth, son Corey, Grandparents: Ray & Sallie (Allen) Lancaster, Svante & Laura (Naylor) Swanson, Aunts: Sylvia Reames, Emma Bozenski, Ruth Winters, Laura Booze, Uncle Hershell Lancaster.
Memorial service will be at Acts2 United Methodist Church located at Penn & Covell. December 13th 2022 at 2:00 PM.
